The sources of energy and their importance

The sources of energy

The Sun is the main source of energy , and it is very important in our life , But there are resources of energy which are the renewable sources of energy and the non renewable sources of energy , They are very important in our life .

The renewable resources of energy are the  sources of energy that renew themselves .

Examples of the renewable resources of energy :

Electricity generating by windmills

Electricity generating by windmills

  1. The wind energy is used in rotating the windmills to generate the electricity .

  2. The rising and ebb tides energy which is caused by the moon . The energy produced from rising the level of the sea and its returning back is used in rotating the turbines that operates the generators ( dynamo ) to produce the electricity .

  3. The waterfalls energy which generates the energy that moves the turbines to operate the dynamo to get the electricity .

What are the machines that are rotated by the renewable resources of energy ?

  1. The windmills that work by the wind energy .

  2. The turbines that work by the waterfalls energy and rising and ebb tidies energy .

The non renewable resources of energy are the sources of energy that may exhausted by the continuous use and they do not renew themselves .

Examples of the non renewable resources of energy :

The coal , the petroleum oil or its derivatives and the natural gas .

The natural gas is one of the cleanest forms of the fuel because it causes less pollution for the environment , So the government exerts a great effort to increase its production .

The government gives more attention to the use of the natural gas instead of gasoline .

What are the machines that are rotated by the renewable resources of energy ?

  1. Cars that work by benzene ( derivative from the petroleum ) or the natural gas .

  2. The aeroplanes  that work by benzene ( derivative from the petroleum ) .

  3. The irrigating machines that work by kerosene .
