    Hi:
I need a cheap phone that has video conferencing, will this fill the bill? My wife is locked up in a nursing home and I am not allowed to see her. I would like to have a cheap phone that i could talk to her in real time.

I’m reading the reviews after I already bought the phone. I feel stupid. Why do I ALWAYS do this? (You don’t have to answer.) Thank you for your review. The positives make me feel better about my impulse buy. The negatives don’t concern me, except for the non-removeable battery.

I bought a Galaxy A01 after my other phone died…Thought, ok, it’s budget phone, but cannot be too bad…well, it worked as a phone, in as mich as you can make calls with it, but for wider use it’s a bit shit.
Major sticking point, screen sensitivity..it sucks. Variable to the point of frustration: sometimes over responsive, sometimes unresponsive… I could go on, but I’ll spare
    Caveat Emptor.

I bought the Samsung A01 after I broke the screen on my J2 Shine. The A01 was $30 or $40 more ( right at $100 so I thought it might be a little better.WRONG!!! THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PHONE I have ever owned!!! And I’m stuck w it! I’ve had several galaxies in the past and the S6 Active was amazing. I wish I could figure out how to get rid of this and get something else but I’m on a limited income so cant just go buy another.

The only good thing about this A01 is these camera &sound. The phone is rubbish, the messaging is rubbish. Wish I had never bought it. My galaxy J3 was much better but it developed a weird squealing noise.
